Fifty by Fifty

The goal is to visit all 50 of the United States before I turn 50 years old. The rules are: driving through a state or changing planes doesn’t count- I have to spend the night, see a show, visit a landmark, do something or see something or otherwise make a memory in each state.

As of May 2025 I have visited 38 states, with 12 left to go before I turn 50 in 2031. Travel plans for the next 12 months include Idaho (Boise), Montana (Bozeman), and Wyoming (Yellowstone National Park).

2026: Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana

2027: Hawaii

2028: Alaska

2029: Oregon

2030: North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Iowa
